A snack or evening treat that is filled with protein and wintery flavours. Chia pudding is super easy to make. I whip up a batch and store it in the fridge in a mason jar for an easy healthy snack.
Ingredients
2 Cups Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
¾ tsp Cinnamon
¼ tsp Ginger
¼ tsp Nutmeg
⅛ tsp Cloves
3 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup
1 Black Tea Bag
6 tbsp Chia Seeds
Directions
In a small saucepan on medium-high heat, add almond milk and stir in spices (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves).
Once the mixture comes to a boil, stir in honey and remove from heat. Add the black tea bag and let steep for 15 minutes.
Remove the tea bag and transfer to a bowl or jar. Add in chia seeds and stir well, removing all clumps.
Let cool over night in the fridge (or minimum of 3 hours) to set and turn into pudding.
Serve with oats, yogurt, fruit, and/or granola!
Enjoy!!
