Cinnamon Raisin Protein Bites Recipe 💪🏻

All of the Energy Ball recipes I have been posting have a good hit of protein from ingredients like nuts, chia seeds, nut butter, etc. but I wanted to bring these to the next level by using my Vanilla Whey Protein Powder as an ingredient.

These turned out pretty good but I might add more honey or nut butter next time to make the mixture a bit more wet - I would suggest increasing the honey portion or adding some water to your mixture. And do not skip the raisins! If you don’t like raisins, consider adding a different dried fruit but they are essential to this recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ Cup Oats

  • 1 Cup Nut Butter

  • ¼ Cup Honey

  • 2 Scoops Vanilla Protein Powder

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds

  • 3 tbsp Raisins


Directions

  1. Add oats to a food processor until they are finely ground. Add in remaining ingredients except for raisins and pulse until well mixed.

  2. Transfer mixture to a large bowl and add in raisins

  3. Roll into 1.5 inch balls (this is where you can add in more wet/dry ingredients depending on the consistency of your protein bites)

  4. Dust with ground cinnamon for the finishing touch!

  5. Store in the fridge in an air tight container for 1 week & enjoy as a pre or post training snack!
