Easy Black Bean Brownie Recipe šŸ«šŸ˜

If you have yet to try black bean brownies and are thinking people are crazy for putting BEANS in brownies, you are missing out! Try this recipe and let me know šŸ˜‰ or come stop by and Iā€™ll give you one šŸ˜‚ā£

Ingredients

  • 1 Ā½ cups black beans (15-oz can), drained and rinsed

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • Ā½ cup oats

  • Ā¼ tsp salt

  • Ā½ cup honey

  • Ā¼ cup coconut or vegetable oil

  • 2 tsp vanilla

  • Ā½ tsp baking powder

  • Ā½ cup cup chocolate chips + extra to sprinkle on top

  • Optional: chopped walnuts, 1 tbsp natural peanut butter


Directions

  1. Put all ingredients except for chocolate chips in a food processor and blend very well.

  2. Once mixture is completely blended, transfer to a mixing bowl and stir in chocolate chips.

  3. Pour batter into a grease 8x8 pan. Option to top with peanut butter, nuts, and extra chocolate chips.

  4. Bake at 350 F for 16-18 minutes. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before trying to cut (chilling helps)
