Easy Pesto Recipe! šŸŒ±

We can't keep up with our herb plants this summer so it's time to make some pesto batches to freeze for off season - you'll thank me later!ā£

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Fresh Basil, packedā£

  • Ā½ Cup Freshly Grated Parmesanā£

  • Ā½ Cup Olive Oilā£

  • ā…“ Cup Pine Nutsā£

  • 3 Garlic Cloves (3 tsp minced)ā£

  • Ā¼ tsp Saltā£

  • ā…› tsp freshly ground pepperā£

Directions

  1. Put basil leaves and pine nuts into a food processor and pulse several timesā£

  2. Add the garlic and parmesan and pulse several times more. Scrape down the sides with a spatulaā£

  3. Slowly add in olive oil either while processor is running slowly or in batches while pulsing in betweenā£

  4. Finish by adding in salt and pepper, add more to tasteā£

  5. Store in an air tight containerā£
