Your new go to recovery snack! Get a hit of protein with this bar recipe, made of natural ingredients & your favourite protein powder. Best stored in the freezer to stay firm
Makes 12 bars
Ingredients
Ā¾ Cup Natural Peanut Butter
Ā¼ Cup Honey
1 tbsp Coconut Oil, Melted
1 tsp Vanilla
Ā¼ Cup Ground Flaxseed
ā Cup Protein Powder
2 tbsp Chopped Peanuts
2 tbsp Mini Chocolate Chips
Sprinkle with Sea Salt and Cocoa Powder
Directions
Combine peanut butter, honey, coconut oil, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Stir well.
Next, add in ground flaxseed and protein powder. Mix well, the dd in chopped peanuts and chocolate chips.
Transfer mixture to an 8x4 pan and sprinkle cocoa powder and sea salt on top.
Let cool in the fridge or freezer for a couple hours before cutting into bars.
Store in the fridge for 2 weeks or the freezer for 3 months.
